St. Vincent and the Grenadines has been shortlisted in six categories of the 2026 Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards, offering another platform to promote the destination internationally.
The nominations include Most Desirable Island Country, alongside recognition for culture and heritage, nature and wildlife, adventure, gastronomy and sustainability.
Announced locally on September 22, the shortlist follows nine nominations for SVG in the 2026 World Travel Awards.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority welcomed the recognition as an opportunity to showcase the country’s diverse visitor experiences, from Vincentian cuisine and cultural traditions to its landscapes and marine attractions.
Tourism Authority CEO Shafia London encouraged residents, members of the diaspora and visitors to support the destination through public voting.
Voting closes on October 27, with the awards ceremony scheduled for November 4 alongside World Travel Market in London. The nominations offer valuable exposure, although winners have not yet been announced.
